Our History

Opportunity Search, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Marc Tappis. He holds a Bachelors Degree from American University and a Masters Degree from The University of Maryland. He worked for several well known high technology companies in the DC area as a corporate Recruiter and Employment Manager. Prior to creating Opportunity Search, he was a Senior Associate for a thirty year old executive and technical recruiting firm that specialized in both the Department of Defense/Intelligence and Commercial sectors.

With more than twenty successful years in the recruitment business, Opportunity Search has an extensive database and network of contacts and is able to effectively respond to any executive or technical staffing need. The vast majority of our business is repeat business or the result of a referral from a satisfied client. Our list of satisfied client companies is extensive and growing.
